About Katharine

Katharine is a natural born Storyteller with a passion for telling stories that connect us. She works across multiple mediums: Words, Photography and Film to craft stories that matter.

Katharine has written and directed Digital Content for ABC Kids and the Sydney Opera House. She is the creator of the ABC podcast Story Salad and director of multiple television promos for ABC 2. She is an award-winning filmmaker whose short films have been screened at festivals worldwide, played on Virgin In-Flight Entertainment, and been distributed to cinemas across the USA and Australia. Her debut picture book, Cockatoo Magic, was published in 2022 and appeared on the Kids Best Seller list at Better Read Than Dead bookshop three times. Katharine is a filmmaking tutor for Bus Stop Films, AFTRS and SF3 Festival.
